Website Security Scanning Agreement

By submitting your website for scanning, you acknowledge and agree to the following:

1. Authorization and Ownership

You confirm that you are the legal owner of the submitted website or have explicit authorization from the website owner to request this security audit. You understand that unauthorized scanning may violate applicable laws.

2. Scope of Testing

BugTrace will perform automated and manual security testing on the submitted website, which may include but is not limited to:

• Vulnerability scanning for common security issues
• SQL injection testing
• Cross-site scripting (XSS) detection
• Authentication and authorization testing
• Server configuration analysis

3. Non-Destructive Testing

We employ non-destructive testing methods designed to identify vulnerabilities without causing harm to your website. However, you acknowledge that all security testing carries inherent risks.

4. Confidentiality

All information discovered during the scan will be kept strictly confidential and used solely for the purpose of providing you with security insights.

5. Liability

BugTrace shall not be liable for any damages, interruptions, or issues that may arise during or as a result of the security scanning process.

6. Report Usage

The security report provided is for your internal use only. Sharing or distribution of the report should be limited to authorized personnel within your organization.
